Upholstery:
This workshop is ideal for the beginner looking to learn the basics of upholstery, as well as the established upholsterer wishing to improve.
Introduction to Restoration:
This one day Restoration workshop is ideal for people looking to learn the skills to restore pieces of furniture to their former glory. From repairing loose joints to basic French polishing.
Car Trimming:
Discover the basics of how to re-trim car seats and interiors, including making door cards and headlinings.
Group numbers are limited to four, so you are guaranteed lots of attention to achieve a professional quality finish.
All courses are run in my 19th century stone workshop near Ross on Wye, Herefordshire.
All the tools you will need are supplied at my workshop. Materials used can be bought on the day.
Bring any type of furniture; old or modern.
Bring your own fabric or choose from my sample books.
The day starts at 10am and, with a break for lunch, we work through until 4pm.
For the Upholstery and Restoration workshops, you will be responsible for bringing a small piece of furniture such as a footstool, ottoman, dining chair.

In 1997, after many years spent in telecommunications, I had a career change becoming an Upholsterer.
After attending a course to learn the craft, I went on to work at a couple of Upholstering companies before becoming self employed in 1998, forming Wyeview Upholstery.
